Rosewood Doors in Westlake

This project required detailed preparation and fine craftsmanship to manufacture and install new timber doors and windows in a suburban Brisbane home, and the result was well worth it.

The client was looking to enclose an outdoor patio area with timber bifold doors and bifold windows, with a special set of outdoor kitchen BBQ doors. Frames and mouldings were installed and waterproofed to ensure a complete transformation of the area where new spaces were created as required. If the weather is good the bifold doors can be opened up so the outdoors becomes part of the indoor areas.

The bifold doors, bifold windows, awning window and single door installed in this project, were crafted from New Guinea Rosewood, a beautiful and durable joinery timber. Dark grey glass was utilised in order to curb the effects of the sometimes harsh Queensland afternoon summer sun. A complete design, manufacture and installation project where no expense was spared to achieve a magnificent result.
